Electrodes and Their Use

  • Mushroom electrode: designed for treating larger areas such as the face, forehead and neck. Place the electrode on the treatment area and gradually increase the intensity according to the client’s skin sensitivity. Then perform a gentle micro-massage.
  • Point electrode: designed for targeted treatment of problematic skin areas, such as pustules, blackheads and acne-prone areas. Place the electrode on the treatment area and repeatedly lift it slightly away from the skin surface. Gauze can then be placed over the area and the same electrode passed over it while held parallel to the skin. The treatment has bactericidal and hemostatic effects that support the skin’s healing process. On open skin areas, the application time is 3–5 seconds.
  • Spoon electrode: suitable for smaller and delicate facial areas, such as the eye contour, nose, chin and area around the lips. It helps improve cellular oxygenation, while its shape allows it to adapt comfortably to facial contours.
  • Straight electrode: designed for indirect high-frequency treatments. It is suitable for treatments with cosmetic products and helps stimulate skin microcirculation.
