Description

Antimicrobial wash lotion. Alcohol, fragrance and colorant free. Contains 2% chlorhexidine digluconate. Proven efficacy against MRSA.

SWELL EXTRA CHG is an antimicrobial wash lotion for antiseptic handwashing in medical institutions and in other high risk areas. It can also be used as a pre-operative hand scrub and pre-operative skin antiseptic for patients. SWELL EXTRA CHG has bactericidal (incl. MRSA) and yeasticidal (incl. C. albicans) activity. The product is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. SWELL EXTRA CHG contains chlorhexidine, which has long-lasting antimicrobial activity for up to 8 hours. Thanks to chlorhexidine, SWELL EXTRA CHG offers a persistent and cumulative effect against a broad range of bacteria and fungi.

Usage: Antiseptic hand wash according to EN 1499 – moisten hands and forearms, apply 3 ml of SWELL EXTRA CHG and wash for 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Pre-operative surgical hand scrub - moisten hands and forearms, apply 5 ml of SWELL EXTRA CHG and wash hands and wrists until one minute has elapsed. Clean fingernails with a brush. Rinse, apply extra 5 ml of SWELL EXTRA CHG and continue washing for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

Active ingredients: Chlorhexidine digluconate 2%.
